Artwork of the week: Little By Little The Darkness Fades Away, by Liffey Speller

This is a work that I’ve seen several times over the past few years, and it has left an impression me. Mostly becuase the artwork keeps changing – making it a very conceptually ‘mature’ and interesting artwork!

Little By Little The Darkness Fades Away

Materials used: glass ink, water and salt
Size: W:60cm x H:60cm x D:10cm

Each bottle represents an issue or trouble and the level of salt (representing the healing process) and ink (representing the darkness and struggle brought on by each issue) shows the progress being made at getting over each struggle.
